Each year 35,000 expectant mothers are informed that there is a risk that their unborn baby may have an abnormality.
ARC supplies expectant parents with information about antenatal testing & supports them and their families when an abnormality is found in their unborn baby - through the continuation or ending of the pregnancy - providing a helpline, booklets, newsletters, and a support network. ARC also provides training and literature for health professionals so that they are able to do a difficult job better.
Running for ARC will help thousands of expectant and bereaved parents in what may be the most difficult and heartbreaking time of their lives.
