Brain injury is the foremost cause of death and disability in young people.It is estimated that in England alone, there are 420,000 people of working age currently living with the long-term effects of a traumatic brain injury.
Headway – the brain injury association is the leading UK charity dedicated to improving the services available to all those individuals affected by brain injury. We offer advice, information and practical care and campaign for better rehabilitation services for brain injury survivors.
Through a network of over 100 groups, we offer vital support within local communities to brain injury survivors, their families and carers.
